Costs

The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $434,100 to $854,200 for a newly developed location, and $195,500 to $519,500 for a conversion location. This includes a $50,000 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

We may provide direct financing to franchisees in the FreeLYFE Rx program, including 50% of the initial fee financed over a two-year period, on a case-by-case basis. We may also provide additional financing for the purchase of the franchise.

We collect a royalty fee equal to 15% of gross revenue from compounded pharmaceuticals. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing FreeLYFE Rx support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, recipes, and systems upgrades. After spending at least $5,000 on your initial grand opening marketing efforts, you will be required to spend a minimum of $500 per month on local marketing. You will also contribute $500 per month to the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the FreeLYFE Rx brand and cover the creative costs to develop branded marketing materials and campaigns.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen
  • Pharmacy industry experience or be partnered with an experienced industry professional
  • A track record of success and the ability to lead

Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Liquid Assets of $150,000 for conversion candidates and $350,000 for Storefront Startup Unit owners
  • Net Worth of $500,000 for conversion candidates and $1,000,000 for Storefront Startup Unit owners
  • The FreeLYFE Rx franchise owner shares our philosophy and is passionate about building a modern, innovative pharmacy business.
  • We seek financially qualified candidates who are inspired by our mission to lead the industry with a new model for growth.

Yes, the FreeLYFE Rx franchise model and systems were developed by pharmacy industry leaders, and owner operations are clear and simple to follow.

Timelines & Locations

FreeLYFE Rx was founded in 2025 in Couer d’Alene, Idaho and began branded services to Western U.S. pharmacies the same year.

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.

Our FreeLYFE Rx franchise team will provide general site selection criteria and guidance in the selection of a suitable location for each market.

  • FreeLYFE Rx full-service and hub locations are most commonly found in neighborhood and community centers, while satellite locations are within high-traffic shopping areas such as grocery stores, shopping malls, universities, airports, and downtown business districts.
  • The most successful market areas feature a strong local residential base, robust daytime employment, and active retail traffic. Ideal sites also offer high visibility, strong street presence, and easy ingress and egress.

Training & Support

  • Franchise owners and their managers will spend 10 days at our flagship/headquarters location for comprehensive training on the FreeLYFE Rx franchise model, both in the classroom and on the job.
  • When it’s time for your Grand Opening, our FreeLYFE Rx team will travel to your location, to make sure you are calm, confident, and excited when you open your doors.
  • Owners will have access to the FreeLYFE Rx Confidential Operations Manual for daily operations.
